[committee] Christians in Imperial

Hi Everyone,

This morning I met up with the leaders of the Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF), Christian Medics Fellowship, Every Nation Christians and the Hillsong Society.


I thought I should let you know a few things which have come out of this:
	* All of us seem keen to work together for the Gospel at Imperial - this is outstanding news
	* Each group is going to write a short blurb about what they are for us to compile into a leaflet which each society has on their freshers fair stand.
	* We are intending to have a get together for the committees for each society sometime over the coming months so that we can get to know one another - this is most likely going to be at Aren Yip's place.

	* We have provisionally planned a joint prayer and praise night for 9 or 16 November for the purpose of joint worship, getting to know members from all societies, praying for each society and to build unity between all our members so that we can go forward in mission.
	* There has been some talk of all of us working together over the CU's mission fortnight - I expect plans for that will work our more when we get the committees together. In the mean time we should continue to plan the mission fortnight with this in mind.
	* A new group has been set up on facebook called "Christians in Imperial" as a forum for each society to communicate their plans so that we can be working together.
We will probably discuss this a little during committee meetings, God is doing great things in Imperial and these are very exciting times!
