I will be there, though I may have to vanish at lunch time, I had something preplanned. I will be minus a fully charged mobile, it’s lost…
The gospels have arrived (I’m in the SAC atm and can see them in a pile in the corner) so I think the first thing on the agenda should be for us to take them all down to the cupboard.

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back from your holidays if you haven't seen me since forum!

A few of you have proposed a committee meeting this week, I think instead of just meeting we need to be "doing", so I propose this friday as our committee "doing" day.

I think we should get together from 10am until refreshers (or earlier if we finisher earlier). I think we should start by praying, so lets meet in chaplaincy (John can you book one of the chaplaincy rooms for friday 10am) then we can head up to the SAC (student activities centre at the top of the union). If you can't spare the whole day then rock up whenever you are free.

Agenda: everything we meant to finish before the start of term

  *   Complete and print fliers for all freshers events
  *   chase up room bookings
  *   chase down speakers
  *   sort out freshers week financing
  *   covering the uni in posters
  *   covering the internet in CU freshers week info
  *   write up and print out questionnaires
  *   call round and enlist CU members to help with all the freshers events
  *   much more
Bring your bibles, your fully charged mobiles and your motivation by God's grace to get all this done to the praise of his glorious name!

FYI - if you are doing some of this stuff now, don't leave it for friday, come having made as much progress as you can!
