Hey guys, I'm not sure if you received this already!
Here are some important informations about the central carol service! :)

It's nearly Christmas!

Which means many exciting things....not least the
ONE LONDON CAROL SERVICE,
      6th DEC 7pm at All Soul's Church!
we're really excited that again this year we can throw open the doors to a
free, traditional-style Carol Service for all London students. There'll be
mince pies, carol singing, Christmas presents and an opportunity to hear
Krish Kandiah from the evangelical Alliance. This event is for you!! We'd
love to give the opportunity to not only celebrate Christmas with your
friends who aren't Christians, but also to give them the chance to see,
like the shepherds, that the Saviour of the world is here.

It's the best news in the world and the best Christmas present we could
ever give, so please get inviting your friends to share it with you. Of all
the opportunities to invite our friends to hear about Jesus Christmas Carol
Services are probably the easiest and one of the most fun - the atmosphere
will be relaxed and light-hearted, nobody will be asked to do anything they
don't want to and there'll be loads of time to chat about what you've heard
while stuffing your face with mince pies....

Here are some top tips for inviting friends

* Why not make a night of it and go for dinner before or after the service
on Regents street? For discount food vouchers see www.studentbeans.co.uk

* Why not flyer on campus dressed in Christmas costumes or singing carols?

* Be part of the giant London flash mob - at 1pm on Wednesday Nov 30th CU
members in universities all over London will break into the first verse of
'Joy to the world' (

campus, before dispersing as other CU members hand out flyers to the
bewildered crowds!

* or get as creative as your Christmas mind will let you!

We'd love your help to make this carol service the best!
For that reason we're asking every CU (that's you!) to..

* Ask every member to bring 1 or 2 boxes of mince pies to their next CU
meeting.

* Appoint a 'mince pie rep' who will deliver the mince pies to All Soul's
church in the morning of the 6th December...they'll also get to join us for
christmassy nibbles while wrapping up the surprise presents for every guest
from 11am-12.
