To ho

For what it's worth I reckon it's at least worth investigating. Finding out prices etc. it would be a good way to let people know about the evening events (since its more of a struggle to get people to those).

I will speak to my mate mark about if it's a possibility.

Thanks
Tom

So actually perhaps a film night would only be good publicity for mission week, rather than filling in the gaps for anyone- but maybe that's enough. I also think it would have to be a DVD thing rather than cinemasoc for various reasons (we can see what Abi says about that).

But since both of those guys are doing finals next term I don't know how much help that will be. Also, I highly doubt that cinemasoc would be able to get the film reels for those films in time, or even at all. Plus they're pretty major films, so they'd be expensive to rent. It would be easier just to show them on DVD... although yeah, we'll need to know about laws relating to that kind of thing.

And Krish will definitely have a good way of explaining them to those few who haven't - he's been doing film-related talks for years.

So especially when we're also thinking about a pre-evangelistic event prior to mission week, I think that merging this with the films is a good idea.
