Hi all,
I know you're all busy with finalising your freshers week plans but it would be a massive help if you could reply to this email in advance of us meeting as a committee on Wed 29th Sept.
We didn't get to decide on follow-up course at Forum as I had originally planned. To get us halfway towards a decision, assuming that you've each spent time by now looking into the various options (Bitesize, Christianity Explored, Alpha), could you each email me what you're preferred choice of follow-up course would be?
Also, could you include like a short paragraph explaining why you've made that choice. I may have spoken to some of you in the past but I would still like that everyone please respond to this email.
At our comm meeting on Wed 29th we'll mainly be finalising plans and praying for Freshers Week. However, if you guys all respond to this email, we should be able to use the remaining time in that meeting to reach a decision on the follow-up course.
Just in case you're wondering why I keep emphasising the follow-up course:
- Planning for mission week has already begun and it's important that we're planning our follow-up course as part of mission and not some separate thing. There's an argument that the main mission happens during follow-up.
- We want to make a choice of follow-up course that the CU can stick with for a couple of years without always having to repeat the same thought process each year.
Cheers,
Zim
