Good morning!
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We've made it! The last day of Events Week 2018!! It's been a wonderful week so far, and we hope that you have enjoyed praying for us and seeing the encouragements in the ways in which God has been working through this week. We thank you again for your
support, we are incredibly grateful. None of the amazing things that have happened this week could have happened without God, and he loves it when we come to him in prayer to ask him for those things. Thank you for being a part of that.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>But the week's not over yet!! Today we have our final prayer breakfast and lunchbar with Stephen speaking on 'Coming Home: Finding Purpose'.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>So, for the final day, please pray:</div>
<div>- For Stephen as he prepares his final talk. Purpose is a big topic for anyone, but particularly among students at Imperial. Please pray that those who come along to the event would be challenged by what they hear, and may reconsider what they think of
as their purpose, and therefore what they find their value in. Pray that God may be opening their eyes and their hearts to a better, bigger, more satisfying purpose.</div>
<div>- For members of the CU in the final push of invitations and first contact evangelism. Please pray that, though we are all rather weary, God would be strengthening and energising us to go out and engage with people today. Please also pray for those who
are feeling discouraged if friends didn't come to events, or didn't engage in the way they'd hoped. Pray that they would know that it is God who opens blind eyes, and that we can be encouraged by the knowledge that he is sovereign over all.</div>
<div>- For our follow up in the coming weeks. Pray that, just because events week is over, we wouldn't be disengaging with those around us, but that we would be proactive in keeping in touch with those we've met and investing in those friendships. Pray God
would be providing more opportunities for us talk to them about Jesus, and that he would be revealing himself to them through that. Please pray specifically for Curious Cafe, our discussion group, starting up again next Wednesday. </div>
<div>- For those who rejected invitations, or didn't hear about events this week. Pray that we would be continuing to reach out to people on campus with God's message throughout the coming days, weeks, months. </div>
<div><span id="ms-rterangepaste-start"></span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif,EmojiFont,"Apple Color Emoji","Segoe UI Emoji",NotoColorEmoji,"Segoe UI Symbol","Android Emoji",EmojiSymbols; font-size:16px">- Most of all, please pray that
God would be softening the hearts of all those who engaged with any event this week, and that in time they might come to know Jesus and his love for them, and have salvation through him.</span><span id="ms-rterangepaste-end"></span><br>
</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Praise God:</div>
<div>- For consistently good turnouts to events throughout the week!</div>
<div>- For two girls, Remi and Hannah, that came along to the lunchbar yesterday and had a good chat with one of the members of the CU. Praise God that they would like to read Uncover and visit Christ Church Mayfair!! Please pray that we would be following
up with them, and wouldn't step back as events week draws to a close, but would be persevering in those friendships knowing that events week is only the beginning of people coming to know Jesus. Pray that God would be working in their hearts and making them
curious and interested in finding out more about his word.</div>
<div>- For a friend of a CU member who has come to all three lunchbars so far this week and has been asking deep questions about God's character and his goodness. Praise God for their interest and boldness in asking questions and engaging with the talks, and
for their consistency in coming to the lunchbars. Please pray that they would come to the final lunchbar today and get further chances to chat about their questions. Please pray for those talking to them, that God would give them wisdom and patience in answering
questions. Pray that the friend might come to see God's goodness and know Jesus soon.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>One last time, we just want to say such a huge thank you for all your support this week. It's been a truly amazing week of being able to share God's word with those on campus, and to see so many people engaging with that has been a complete joy. Thank
you for sharing in that with us.</div>
