This is the Christian Union's weekly events email.

Coming up this week:

  *   Thursday 29th November - International Cafe: Why are the Brits crazy for Christmas?

Blacket Lecture Theatre 3, 5-6pm
This week International cafe will continuing its series exploring the message of Christmas. If you're an international student, why not take this opportunity to come and take a look at the Christian message? There will be free snacks and drinks, too. See you there!

  *   Friday 30th November - Skepitcal: Life after death? I'm skeptical!

RSM G1, 12-1pm
Skeptical is a fantastic chance to listen to a short talk by a Christian on a common objection to the Christian faith. This week's topic is looking at what happens after death, particularly focusing on the Christian claim that there is the possibility of perfect life after we die. There will be a chance to chat and ask more questions after the talk. As ever, there's a free lunch too!


  *   (Advance notice) Saturday 8th December - It's Christmas! The annual Christian Union carol service.

Great Hall 6-7.30pm
Are you feeling ready for Christmas? This is a great way to begin the Christmas season! Come along with your friends to spend time singing traditional carols, eating mince pies and drinking mulled wine. There will be a talk during the service explaining the message of Christmas, and afterwards will be a Christmas party with more refreshments, some games and music, and a chance to chat.
