<p class="MsoNormal">Had a chat with Cinema people today. They’re very happy with the idea of collaboration. But we can’t do the date we want. The Hobbit doesn’t come out early enough for us to have a hope of getting it for Mission Week.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We worked through the dates they have available and they’re planning on showing The Hobbit throughout the week 18<sup>th</sup>-23<sup>rd</sup> February, that would involve Cinema showing it on Tue, Thu and Friday, then giving us the
<b>Saturday – 23<sup>rd</sup> Feb</b>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The finance doesn’t sound too catastrophic, they already have the film in and for this sort of film the distributors ask for 35-50% of ticket sales. So we could either pay that or charge people.

<p class="MsoNormal">So details. First, do we want to have this showing exclusively or a block of seats? Personally I think exclusive is better.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Second, the big worry that Cinema have is clarity of publicity. They don’t want to put off or confuse their own customer base. So
<b>any ideas</b> people have on clarity and distinctiveness between the events would be great.<o:p></o:p></p>
