The idea is very much in the works at the moment, but I feel like I should have talked to you all about it much earlier this term.<br><br>The basic idea would to be to take a group from the CU out to do mission in Brazil with David Kurka, working with University Christian Unions out there. from now, I can see some ways both you and us could benefit with a

We could think in some activities to be done with Brazilian students,
like a mission week, or something alike... also, I think that the
Brazilian Christian Unions would be interested in hearing about your

activity... the ABU itself has association with some works and it is
easy to find other suitable activities with this purpose. Maybe a work
like this can fit better the Imperial's terms to give you the funding...

Whether the summer teams handbook could be available to look through,
re what they'd need to consider eg insurance, injections...</span></span></div><div><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">Chris</span></div><div> <br>Since talking to them this has (surprisingly to me) been discussed in some of the upper echelons of UCCF and ABU (IFES in Brazil) and the response is currently positive.<br><br>There are a couple of reasons I think the CU in particular should think about running this to Brazil:<br><ul><li>We have strong links with David Kurka, who is now working with CU's in Brazil (mainly with the university in Campinas near Sao Paulo)</li><li>The union offers grants up to 40% of the transport, food and accommodation costs for tours such as this, so more of the CU are likely to be able to afford it if we run it than if anyone else runs something similar.<br></li><li>(Surprisingly?) An overseas mission trip is just the kind of thing which fulfills the criteria for tour funding - furthering the aims and objectives of the
