I think it would be a great idea to meet up! We're snowed under with Freshers week plans at the moment but perhaps we could make a plan to meet two or three weeks in to term? I will run it by the rest of the exec.

Izzie,

Yes, looking forward to meeting you all! 3 talks in Jonah sounds ideal - I gave Jonah in 3 over the summer. It’s a great book! It did the church good, I think.

Looking a little further down the track, I wonder whether it might be a good idea for me to meet up with you guys - exec, anyone involved in overseeing the organisation of the mission week etc - to talk it through a bit. I appreciate it probably feels a way off, but the sooner we chat, the better I expect! What do you think? I’m in London, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to organise!

I just wanted to send you a quick email to check in and say that we haven't forgotten you! We've been very busy with plans for Freshers week and are very much looking forward to welcoming new students to Imperial in three weeks time.

I wanted to check with you again that you're still up for speaking at our weekend away in November (Friday 7th to Sunday 9th) and are still happy to speak on Jonah? We're hoping to have three main talks, each about 20-30 minutes with time after for discussion questions and prayer. How did Jonah go in your church over the summer? Our mission statement as a CU is to 'give every student at Imperial a chance to hear and respond to the Gospel' so we'd like the main talks to reflect that and look at why we should want to share the Gospel urgently and how we can do that. Would be great to hear your thoughts.
