[Committee] Committee Meeting Wed 1pm SAF

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all managed to pack some rest and some fun into the holidays and I hope any exams you have in the first few weeks of term are going/have gone well.


We have quite a lot of planning to do, mainly because we have the best news in the world ever and lots of people, most of whom don't know they need it, to proclaim it too!

 
With this awesome news of salvation, redemption and adoption through our Lord Jesus, from our heavenly Father God and by the power of his Holy Spirit who dwells in us as a guarantee of this most gracious inheritance, with this in mind I would like to call our first Committee Meeting of the New Year this Wednesday.

We'll meet as usual in SAF at 1pm on Wednesday.

Agenda this week:

	* Mission Week - thinking practically what is happening where and when and how do we encourage everyone to be where they need to be?

	* Next committee - We'll start thinking about who would be good for what roles next year (We will just be getting started this week, and making final decisions next week)
Committee meetings this term, and a couple of other important dates:


9 Jan - Mission week and next committee
16 Jan - Mission week and next committee
23 Jan - Mission week and followup
30 Jan - Take a break, you'll have earned it!!
6 Feb - Review of mission week and thinking about a speaker for next year's mission week
13 Feb - Easter mission week planning
14 Feb - AGM aka voting in the new committee

20 Feb - Handover to the new committee
22 - 24 Feb - Forum London!
