Hi all,

Further to Josh's email about speakers (Freshers, Mission Week, Carol Service etc.), I've been doing a bit of digging and have found talks etc. by some of the other names suggested (see the minutes) . . . just follow the links.

Krish Kandiah
These are a talks from a Mission Week in Southampton. Look between 11th-15th February on the page (there's lots of other talks!)

Kev Murdoch
This links to a couple of apologetic/evangelistic talks at a guest service.

Andrew Sach
He did the lunchbars at Durham's mission this year - you can listen to them here. (The sound quality is a bit poor on the 1st talk)

Amy Orr-Ewing
Lots of talks and articles here, from UCCFs www.bethinking.org<http://www.bethinking.org/> (which is a brilliant resource - if you haven't come across it yet, take a look!)

Have a look, seeing what you think about, prayerfully considering:
 - Are they faithful to the Gospel?
 - Are they engaging?
 - Would they be good for an Imperial crowd - would you bring your friends to hear them?

You may like to jot a few notes, because we will come back to discuss this stuff at a committee meeting next term.

(Remember, we've akready asked Michael Ramsden to be our mission speaker, so for mission week, we are looking for 2nd and 3rd choices. We're still looking for a first choice for the Carol Service, and possibly Freshers - depending on what we decide to do in Freshers Week).

If you find any good stuff by the other names suggested, then please do forward it around!

Have a good break everyone! Get some good revision done! But relax aswell.

Tom
:)
