[Committee] This Week

Hi all,

Hope you are all well.  As with last week, there will be no full committee meeting on Wednesday.  One reason is I have the pleasure of having lunch with the Rector (Keith O'nions) on Wendesday along with presidents of all the other faith societies.  I'm  not really sure why but he wants to chat to us all.  I would value your prayers - that I can be a good representative of the CU to the "powers that be" in the college and we could build up good links with them.  What are peoples' thoughts on me asking him if he would do a reading at the Carol Service (if I get the opportunity)?  It would be a good way of getting college support - who knows, perhaps if he does that, he would be able to support the service in other ways.  It could be good leverage in terms of getting other societies etc. on board.

I've been in contact/will be in contact with those of you who I'm planning to meet this week.

Please could you all let me know your availability for a 1 hour meeting on Wednesday 29th June.  (I imagine some of you will be flying home by then, and others will have exams that week though...).  Just trying to sort out a final committee meeting where we can tie a few looses ends together.

Don't forget: prayer meeting on Wednesday morning and Prayer and Praise on Thursday evening (in Skempton 301, not SAF) - epic!
