Hey all,

See opportunity below of a Student Planning Meeting to give input to the UCCF team planning the Invited mission so that we can help them plan events that we'd be happy to invite our friends to.  Unfortunately, I have bible study on Tuesday evenings so can't make it.  Could you all reply and let me know if you will be able to make it or not (we only need 1 or 2 people to go)?

Dear CU Leaders



It was fantastic to see many of you at ONE London on Wednesday!



A quick email to follow up on two things:



1.  CU GUESTS



Have you invited CU guests yet?  CU guests are graduate volunteers who are help and come alongside CU students during mission week - and in the weeks leading up to mission week ... it's great to invite them along to your carol service, and just one more example - to host dinner parties where they can meet your friends and give a short talk.  If you haven't yet invited CU guests (affectionately known as "CUgs") then please chat to your staff worker about who you could ask.



I have attached an example letter that you could send out to people as you invite them to be CU guests.



We will have a training day for CU guests on Saturday 27th November, from 1pm-4pm.  Venue: St Peter upon Cornhill, Cornhill, City of London EC3V 3PD.  This will be a fantastic opportunity for CU guests to hear more of the vision of invited, to meet each other and to be equipped to serve effectively as CU guests.  Please ask everyone to bring a packed lunch.



Please email your CU guests (today if possible!!!) to invite them - and please let me know roughly how many people you think are coming.  You would also be very welcome to attend this training session alongside your CU guests.





2.  STUDENT PLANNING MEETING



We would love to hear your thoughts and involve you as we move forward with plans for the invited mission weeks.  We will hold a student planning meeting on Tuesday 7th December - at 6.30pm.  Venue tbc.  It would be great if you could send one or two representatives from your CU to hear more and share your ideas.  Please confirm by Wednesday 1st December if you are able to attend.
