Zim,

I was encouraged to have the Chief Administrative Officer of IFES tell me about Fritz at Imperial.  Somehow he was contacted in the process of Fritz finding ICCU.  The Lord is so good at bringing us together as He makes Himself known!  I'm glad that Fritz went down well at Imperial.

     Thanks very much for your message.  Since you played a big role in my lecture last Thursday evening at Imperial College London, I am sending along a letter from the Christian Union there.  You may remember that last year at the same time, you set up a visit between two Imperial College students and me.  One of them, Ed (sorry I can't remember his last name; he is a physics undergraduate), instigated my lecture Thursday night.  I will send you separately my take on the lecture.

Dear Fritz,

I am just emailing on behalf of Imperial College Christian Union to say a very big thank you for coming along to last Thursday to give your Coherence or Conflict lecture.  I am sure I speak for pretty much all the CU when I say that the event was enjoyed by most and your style of lecture and answering questions was very warm and well received.  We were also struck at your extremely kind gesture of interrupting your flight back to the USA to stop off at Imperial just to give this lecture.

We thank God that the event went well and a good number of people came along, including those who wouldn't yet call themselves Christians.  We pray that off the back of your lecture they would continue to consider Christ and come to put faith in Him.

We will always be happy to have you come back and do a similar event next year, depending on your diary and the wishes of the group of students running the CU next year.

We pray that God might continue to strengthen you and use you to make Jesus Christ known.
