Hi Zim,

I'm just forwarding an email that I sent to the Christian Union (Nathan I think). Basically I volunteer with this organisation called Noor Youth outside uni, and we've organised this interfaith event.

I'd be really grateful if it could be publicised to people in the CU crowd. I saw many of them at the UniFaith event on Monday, so I hope many will be free and interested in this on Sunday 22nd too. Hope you can do that, and see you soon.

Hi,

I'm emailing you to invite you and your club members to an interactive interfaith event this Sunday 22 November at 5.30pm called "Faith: Beyond Theology." (please see attached poster).

The event features a short talk by Reverend Fergus Capie (Director of the London Interfaith Centre), as well as a Muslim speaker called Jafar Ladak, and Rabbi Professor Jonathan Magonet. Following this will be discussion circles on topics like the extent of secularisation of British society, religion in public life and the issue of the BNP.


As a Christian society on campus, I'd be grateful if you could forward this poster to your club membership, or at least to your committee members. Especially if any of them live close by to the Willesden area in North-West London, it would be great if one or two of you can come down for this event, which like many events this week is in the spirit of the current UK interfaith week.
